Well as the thread title states I do not actually own a Honda Civic. However, my close friend has a 2002 Civic LX, 4-door automatic with 135k on it. She's not really into cars at all, but has credited me with keeping her car alive so far, as it leads a hard life. I try to do as much work on it for her as I can, since she can't always afford to have things taken care of at a shop. There's a few things I had questions on, so I figured I would do what I usually do and join a forum. I'm not new to working on cars--I've got a 1972 Volkswagen Super Beetle and a 2009 GTI, and my BF has a 2005 Passat. So most of my automotive experience has been in the field of Volkswagens, but I always like to learn new things. I won't be posting a ton but I'll be checking in from time to time with some questions. Thanks for reading!

Oh and here's a picture of the car...it's the only one I had. We liked the snow mustache. Since this photo was taken the rear bumper has been knocked off lol
