The only problem i had was that the b18 sat really high with the custom mounts. i had to cut the ribbing on the underneath of the bonnet, which is illegal in australia. i also had to switch from the hydraulic clutch gaerbox that came with my front cut to a 91 ls integra gaerbox which has a cable setup. i'm saving for a C/F bonnet but its really hard to come by here. i've got custom exhaust manifold and skunk2 inlet coming for it so i should be seeing at least 140kw at the treads soon. Trying to find time to take it to the drags so as soon as i do that i will post up my time slip. What time do you guys think i'll manage taking into consideration it weighs 830kg's and has 120kw@wheels, if all goes right?

Way to rock the 4G. That's how it should be done.

That's pretty much always a problem with B-series swaps into EF's. The only other option is to take the cam gear section of the timing cover off, which is a little risky.

Carbon fiber hoods aren't worth it. They are pretty expensive and you save like 12 lbs. Take the crap out of your trunk, race on half a tank, and take the rear seats out (if applicable) and you've saved the same, if not more wieght for free. Then you can save you CF hood money for something that will give you some really good gains.

hey all. for those who are wondering what the stuff in the hatch are, the big silver tank is a surge tank(swirl pot) which eliminates the risk of the motor being starved of fuel while taking fast corners, the thing with the green label is a pre pump which pumps fuel out of the tankand into the surge tank, it originally didnt need it as the original motor was carby and runs a low pressure fuel system and the other thing attached to the blue piping is the main high pressure pump(350 hp capability) all of these items are essential to the swap, all up this system cost me close to $1000. the whole swap around the $10000 mark. pretty easy but puts a hefty hole in your pocket. but every cent was worth it. it goes F****NG HARD. i recommend it to all honda civic lovers.

thats cool stuff man, over here most 88-91 civics if not all were fuel injected so swaps cost a lot less for us, but i love the car man.

Nice EF, you practically never see those anymore. Hope everything works the way you want.

everything is working sweet. the most annoying thing is the solid engine mounts that i fitted. the mounts are made from billet aluminium and the bushings are made of nolathane instead of rubber, this combination makes for great mouns that allow for minimum movement and are basically unbreakable. the downside is that all of the engines vibrations are sent straight into the cabin which is really bad when your engine is revving at 9000rpm... i guess it all adds to the whole racer setup that i have. i always did say that i want the car for performance and not comfort.
