Hey guys, was wondering what is the best year/model would be the best too work with? I want it as a daily driver when my truck dies(as I read up on civics and drive my truck I can't wait till it dies lol). What year has the most potential too work with as far as preformance?

for ek, you want a 99 0r 00. or you could go eg.

 

^ agreed. THe aftermarket is very friendly with ek.

 

if you want a lot of available parts, go with an EG (92-95) or and EK (96-00)

Or you can go for good looks and get yourself a 88-91 crx or civic si

You know what's funny? Bear in mind, that I'm guilty of this too, so don't think I'm trying to be the smart guy or anything. I referred to my car as a 99 EK on another board and got tore apart. EK's are only hatches, the coupes are EJ's. I dont know if you guys are recommending hatches, or if you're using EK as a broad generalization of anything 96-00. But, just so ya know, coupes are EJ's.
