Default What to do, what to do

Alright, right now i have a 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee that im going to sell in the spring time, and hoping to get a little over 4K for it. With that, im planning on buying a civic id like some help with brands/specs on the parts i want, any help is greatly appreciated.

What are the best brands for-

Intake
Short Shifter
Lowering springs

This is what i know i want so far.....

-1996+
-Power
-5 Speed(duh)
- As close to stock as i can get it
-Mileage isnt much of a factor

And this is what i know i wanna do to it before fall....

-Pads, Rotors
-Plugs,wires,dizzy cap, rotor...all that tune up grabage lol(that stuff will be done one of the first days i get it)
- Cold Air Intake
-Short Shifter
- Lower it, not too much
-Decent security system
-Catback exhaust
-Tint
-Head/Tail lights

Over time....

-Tires/Rims
-Paint?
-Engine Swap??
-Turbo fo shoo

Long *** list, I know itll take alotta work..but im down for it. Ive got alot of work ahead of me

try to find an si model (6th gen) which is 1999-2000 years, it comes with a more powerful engine. and your list sounds like a pretty good start, it should keep you busy for a while

If you want the max power, which everybody does, even if they say they don't... take your time and find an Si. You'll be thankful you did.

And if you're not thankful, I'll give you my EX for your Si.

99-00 Si is the best year civic in my opinion.

i got my 99 DX for $4500 a few years ago, you should be able to find a 6th gen (96-00) for pretty cheap. SI is always the best, and one step below that would be EX (since it has VTEC). You're list looks pretty good, although i think Rims/Tires should be MUCH higher on the list, and i say save the money for the turbo instead of getting I/H/E and then having to replace it once you boost anyway (except the cat-back of course). Also, stock 99-00 Coupe taillighst are SICK, i have them on my car (look at my gallery, the most recent pictures), so you probably should stick with them if you can get some without any amber on them. Good luck, and welcome to HCF
