Default What should the 1st mod be?

I have a 04 civic ex coupe. I am now ready to start modding it. I don't want to concentrate on looks because i think the civic is a sexy looking car just needs to be lowered. I am leaning toward a 'CAI' system from AEM. My brother had one in his SI and it sounded freakin amazing and was an awesome combo with the vtec. I have been told that with the vtec, headers are also a good mod. Right now i can only do one mod per month otherwise i would have done the CAI, Headers, and Exhaust. Any opinions? (my bad on the mispelling its my brothers inside joke and i just got used to spelling it that way.)

Well you have the right idea, start with those mods, and then save up for the big suff like turbo

i would decide ahead of time what you are looking to do.. how much power.. etc,, if you end up wanting gobs of power like turbo.. think about the cash your going to waste on bolt ons you will have to sell down the road.. intake/headers alone are about 1/3 to near half the cost of a DIY turbo setup depending on setups.. say DC sports headers and V2 CAI .. thats over 500 bucks.. but if you just want a few extra ponies and a decent sound.. performance wise intake/header/exhaust are a good way to go..

Id say your first mod should be suspension.

If you are gonna go with a CAI just buy one off Ebay then buy a K&N filter at your local auto parts store. A pipe is a pipe and to em the sound difference between a generic pipe and a V2 is worth the extra $150-$200
