im going to buy a civic for my first car. what year and model should i get?

That all depends on your budget. If its not really an issue, Id go for the 06 si. If you dont have 22k + to spend on a car, Id check out the 99-2000 Si. (I am partial to these since I used to have one) But it is a great car. Also, what are you looking for in a Civic?

 

depends if you want to do any engine mods to your car or whatnot. you can always buy a cheap car, motor swap it and then turbo it. just depends what you want to do

 

There are so many performance mods out there for civics, just look at all the body styles of the different years and pick your favorite. If you don't want to build it up, start with an SI model that has some power right off the production line and you ~might~ be happy enough with it as-is

 

ive decided on a 98 civic sedan 4 door. i want to do a engine swap, turbo it, put a body kit, and a wide body kit, a wing, some rims, and some interior work.

(not all at once though)

what should i do first?

Me I say start with the performance and then go for the looks, but it depends on what you want.

 

i would get a cai /exhaust/ header depending on what motor you want good luck
