Whats up, i have a 2 dr. 2001 civic lx with APC headers, AEM underdrive kit and short ram air intake system performance wise. My exterior has 15" aluminum rims, hood scoops and a spolier. Basically i wanna start pumpin out some horsepower, im building for speed only with some looks every now and then. Whats some things that will give me good gain and have me beat my friends mustang 5.0?

For the money your going to spend I wouldn't worry about those 5.0's. As an owner of both a 5.0 Mustang and the Civic they are like night and day. The V8 only has to work half as hard and most bolt ons are really inexpensive for the Stangs in comparison. The performance guys have done their homework when it comes 4 & 6 cyl market and prices reflect this. Enjoy the civic because ultimately you'll be saving where it counts..... the gas tank [sm=happybounce.gif]

For the love of all things holy, take your fake hood scoops off. Those are retarded, they don't do anything for the car and they're rice in it's purest form. Put a K20 in the car and then boost it. Then you'll put bus lengths on your friends 5.0.

I didnt put them on in the first place i bought this car used 2 weeks ago and they came it already, i may try to find a carbon fiber hood that has the same effect but with real scoops or take it to my dad's shop and we'll cut vents in for them. What is a K20?

I know that acura and honda parts are interchangeable, but when doing a motor swap do all the mounts and such line up too? or do you have to get a lil creative.

Give Hasport a call for the motor mounts. They're not cheap, but they are very well fabricated and fit absolutely perfectly.
