Default Whats up!! New to the Group

Hi all!! I am new to the group/forum. I am also new to the world of Honda's. I owned a 98 Honda civic ex auto but traded it awhile back. I am in the process of getting a civic hatch. I am looking at a 94 with a JDM SOHC VTEC. What would be the engine numbers on it so when I look at it I will know what I'm looking at. I own a Nissan 300 zx twin turbo, as of right now I haven't done anything to it other than put a system in it. Parts are not plentiful like for Honda's, also they aren't as expensive at Nissan. Also at some point I want to swap in a DOHC VTEC with a six speed tranny if possible. What is the best DOHC VTEC? I hear a lot about B18C1 and B16....Anyway, look forward to hearing from you all.

Welcome to HCF. What are your plans for the car, keeping it NA or going Turbo/sc?

Well being that my Nissan is twin turbo, I think I'll leave the civic NA. Put some NOS to it. I know you can acheive some awesome power gains in the NA department with little four cyclinder's. My dad and I use to race Ford 2300 motors in Pinto's and Stangs. I am excited about it though. Do you know about what engines are SOHC JDM VTEC motors are? The care im looking at supposedly has that kind of motor in it. I know it has some mods already done to it, CAI, DC Header, KYB Coilovers, SI wheels, Catback and i think a shortthrow shifter. Let me know...

I'm keeping it N/A for sure. Just going to add some NOS. I was thinking about putting a B18C5 in it. put some nice cams, dual valve spings, get the head worked. Purple562 you in Long Beach, Cali? I use to live out there...off of 20th and Atlantic...
