Hey everyone. I'm really new to the import scene due to my fiance owning an 04 civic. I am not new to modding cars though. I own a 2000 Pontiac grand prix. I have always liked her civic and now that we purchased her ride off of the lease I was given the go ahead to play. I do have a question though before I can start. For some reason I can't tell which type of civc she has ex. EX DX LX. There is nothing on the trunk, in the owners manual or on title. It is a 4 door. If youguys could help me out to figure this out it would help alot, as I already purchased a front strut bar that doesn't fit.

Mkay...where to begin. One, welcome. Two, figure out what model. If it's a four door, then it's probably an LX or EX. My mom owned one for a while. Check the plate on the driver's side doorjam. It should be visible when you open the door. Also, the lease and original paperwork form the dealer should tell you even if you are not the first owners. Another thing you can do match up the engine type to the model for that year. The EX's tend to have a bit higher hp than the others (traditionally and correct me if I'm wrong, all).

As for the strut bar, are you sure that you were installing it right, and are you sure that you bought the right one for the right year civic?

What's the engine code? Power windows? Power locks? Moonroof?
