Default Green to the Scene

Hello. I've just acquired an '05 EX Sedan. After browsing the forum, I was wondering what the best exhaust system would be for this vehicle? After installing an exhaust, would I need anything else for the engine to balance the air flow (ie, air filter)? I'm just looking for something to give my car a little more hp, without going nuts with mods. Also, are these types of installations 'safe' for the engine? Thank you.

Welcome to the forum!!!

Greddy Evo 2 is by far the most popular on this forum. CAI or SRI and a DC Sports header would complete your cars new lungs.

^What he said plus a high flow cat.

The set up i'm going for, and am halfway to, would be an AEM CAI, DC Header, Random Tech Cat, Megan Racing Cat-Back. That will really open up the airflow and let the car breathe easier and more efficiently

Welcome to HCF! I have an 05 LX and there aren't alot part for that trim but there are lots for EX. I got Intake/Exhaust and now I'm waiting for a header. Car has a little pep to it and I'm very satisfied.

You have any pics?
