Default yup, yet another noob

Ok so im buying a 98 honda civic ex coupe. its in excellent condetion outside and inside. it has 171400 on the engine and tranny but the clutch has been replaced 30k ago. then engine is in perfect condetion, not one leak or anthing. the overall condetion is amazing for the age and milage. im going to do just minor stuff for now, exhaust, (already has a intake, not cold air but oem box removed and a pipe and k&n installed), hid kit, ungrade center dash, new radio and a small sound system. i really want to buy a used motor and build it then turbo it but im not sure where to start or how much i really want to do with it. its going to be my daily driver but id like to be able to take it to the track and have a good time.

Any and all advise will help
Wes

Welcome. Two things of advice

#1. Search before asking any questions, there is a wealth of information on how to turbo your Civic. No one will spoon feed it to you. Research is key.

#2 Cheap. Fast. Reliable. Pick two.

well im the type of person who researches as much as i can befor i ask questions. i just joined up and ive read about 4 hours the other night on anything i could find. i want reliable for sure because it will be a daily driver, but it doesnt have to be the fastest thing out there and i dont want to cost me an arm, leg, ear, and hair! ive heard of a few mid builds (cant remember what they were called but it started with a v) that you can run about 15-16lbs of boost safely.
