I have read from many reliable sources that a bigger fuel pump is not needed unless you plan to make 275-300 whp. I would save your money and use it elsewhere unless you are planning to make somepretty huge power.

my NA gsr was leaning out on the stock pump at 157 whp. i put in the 255 Walbro, and it is fine now at over 170whp. overkill actually, but now im ready for whatever i decide to do.

a 255 might be a little overkill for your set up depending on your goals. however a new pump is a good precaution to take for a better margin of saftey in the long run. imo the $100 is well spent for saftey issues.

a fuel pump is something thats ok to go a little overkill on. only real downside is a little more noise, but not enough to be annoying.
