i just got a 97 hx civic for my 16th birthday and i was thinking about getting a turbocharger for it. i dont kno much and im learning about it as i go. is there anything i need to get before a turbocharger and should i get a turbocharger? thanks for the help

 

What tranny do you have? If it's the 5spd that came stock with it, I'd switch that out for a 96-00 5 spd tranny as the hx has such long gears. If you have cvt tranny I dunno how well it handles the power. Otherwise people have been quite happy with boosting the hx, seems to make more tq then hp.
