If you're on a "cheap" budget then you won't make 300hp. It takes deep pockets and a good knowledge of these engines.

It would require a swap and boost.

If you build your stock d you can make 300whp, probly take about 20psi on a t3/t4. I'm running a B18C1 on stock internals and putting down 300whp, but i feel like i'm walking a fine line. Even with a good tune, i'm stilled worried about blowing the engine. Craigb is right, the more money you spend the more reliable and fast it'll become, the trick is figuring out what corners to cut and by how much.

i think it would be easier to build your internals on your stock d and turbo it than swapping and turboing it. you can make 300 whp on a stock d if its built right. i will agree with craigb as well, it takes money to build.
