Default ah i dont know what to do

ok i have a 97 hx with a short ram intake and exhaust so its pretty much stock but i went to the track and its so so so slow i dont know if im goin to build the d now or just do a swap. What are your guys opinions? i want around 250hp is that even reasonably possible with the d(mini me swap, turbo, pistons and rods?) or should i just swap cause i really really like the b16 with the vortech supercharger putting out 272hp. Ya it costs alot but i just like superchargers for some reason. K sorry for rambling any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

with some pistons and rods in a d-series you can be well over 250+hp probably like in the 300's pretty easy with the propure fuel system...

compression is usually from 8.5:1 to the 9.0:1 area for f/i, iv hear lots of people recomend je pistons and eagle rods or carillo rods if u can find them
