B16a max hp limit on stock?
 

Sorry if this has been discussed to death. I spent about half an hour searching and couldn't find any substantial information. I've got a free Zex wet kit, and I just bought my Civic. It has a b16a swapped into it with approximately 80,000km on it. What size shot should I use max? I was thinking a 35 shot, but I'd rather get confirmation first. Thanks.

50shot would be fine.

Dont just hook up a 50 shot and start spraying. Youll want some bigger injectors, a bigger fuel pump and a dyno tune. Those things arent necessary, but they will prolong the life of the motor by a LOT

at the least, get some colder spark plugs and set the ignition timing to 14 degrees BTDC. then a 50 shot will be fine.

From what I was told, it comes with the nozzle for a 35 shot. I probably wont install it until I've got the money for new injectors and fuel pump. Thanks for the quick responses, I appreciate it.

I would at elast go RC 440 injectors.

we had a hatch with an ls swap done on a 75 shot. these motors can handle some power ... he did it on the stock injectors with a vafc hack. it ran a 13.01 when it went at the track...



that was 15 bottles at a 75 shot..
