Default bolt ons for nitrous

i have 95 ex with i.h.e and maybe a 35-50 shot of nitrous soon what bolt ons would be neccesary to make it run most efficently on the nitrous or will it matter because it will be a dry shot.

A wet shot is safer to run on your car. Make sure you get a compression test as well to make sure your car has enough compression to run it but most nitrous kits will run off of stock internals. You dont need anything else really

Just do a compression test, make sure you aren't burning oil, then get 2 step colder spark plugs. Last tip is don't spray below 2,500rpm or you will have an intake backfire... which is bad. If you do all that and don't do too large of a shot you should be alright.

With a 35-75 shot you do not need to upgrade your fuel system. I do think that you should invest and get a direct port kit instead though. Also, I forgot to tell you that it would be a great idea to replace your spark plug wires and fuel filter also before you start using the nitrous.

Direct port ONLY if you go with a wet shot a single fogger at the throttle body will result in bad news on that engine. And honestly you guys are way off for bang for your buck and reliability on the wet shot idea. Unless you were sprayin a dual cam vtec or the newer I-vtec motors with the return fuel units, dry shot is the best most reliable choice by FAR. Dry shot will be far easier to tune basically no tuning at all, and be safer because of puddling in the first cylinder. If you run a wet shot you will run slightly fat in the first cylinder, and extremely lean in the 4th cylinder. Your just asking to blow a head gasket or detonate in that cylinder. A dry shot will be only nitrous out the fogger, and use the fuel pressure regulator to increase fuel thru the injectors instead which in his case will be a far more even mix of fuel and oxygen in ea. cylinder. A wet shot mixing the fuel with nitrous at the throttle body is stupid because in his case the fuel will never be truely vaporized at injection and therefor have the most fuel hit cylinder one because of its weight as a liquid mist, and result in the nitrous running heavy with only the lesser fuel from the injector in the 4th cylinder.... so unless your running 4 ports to keep things nice and even go DRY shot for sure.

Do whatever you want though its your civic.... Just to let you know though I ran a dry shot of 60hp thru my dual cam NON-vtec ls integra for almost 2 years before I sold it still running fine with 240k miles. And I do run a wet shot with my mustang 5.0 but its all direct port.
