Default boost b16

I wanna boost my b16a1 aprox 7 psi. I was thinking of going with a greddy kit or one of those turbonetics kits. They seem kind og expensive though for everything and the last thing I want to do is go cheap for such a crucial mod. What can I do to get a lot of power w/$2000-$2500? and will the greddy kit work on the b16a1 even though it says 96-00 si?

for 2-2.5k, you can DEFINITELY build a bad *** turbo setup.

I'll be boosted for under a grand this spring, if that gives you any indiciation as to how cheap it can be done. Pcupo has spent less than a grand on his set-up too if I'm not mistaken.

eh i spend 1300, but it was a full GReddy kit, with EVERYTHING i needed. 1300 is a steal for a greddy kit.

you know what, I completely remember you saying that now, not quite sure what I was thinking... Anyway, 1300, like you said is a great deal. Take that other 700 and dump it into the little things that help the turbo perform at its best (most importantly, a tune!), and you got a beast on your hands.

Eh i dont think too much more. Esp if you piece your own kit. Turbo/manifold/IC/BOV/Pipes......i could prolly git-r-done for about a grand.

yeah, if you piece it together, its a lot closer, but for kits, its a lot more.
