my brake booster line keeps coming off where my intake manifold and the vacuum manifold connects. i have no clue why, it seems like the engine is going to come out of the car. it just doesnt seem secure. i will boost to five pounds and the brake booster line will come off. i have two tight hose clamps on there and usually you dont need hose clamps to keep this line on. please help me with this problem. thank you.

 

get a slightly smaller hose for a snugger fit

 

maybe somthing where u cut the line before that "hard part" or after

You talking about that tiny little chunk we had to wedge in there?

If so, go get yourself like a foot of rubber hose, and run a loop like I used to have. I suspect that your motor is rocking a lot of under boost, and thats whats pulling it off.

 

well now my shifter is being really loose and i think i might have broke one of the engine mounts. im going to go and look at it here in a bit and ill have the full diagnostic on the problem.

 

bolt came out of the tranny mount, put it back in and its fine now.

 

Don't you hate that?
