Default cast or tubular mani?

about 75% of ppl I talk to say tubular.

but the few others say cast because of its ability to retain heat better and some how that helps spool faster not much at all but just a little.

Not to be a *****, but you need to do more research. You arent ready for boost and its a bit old to see thread after thread

and I cannot tell when a mani is going to allow a/c or not.

I do not want a/c. because what I have read allows for a less restrictive path of air flow..?

If you want to keep A/C, youll really limit your choices, most of which are cast log manifolds. http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread/2152865

cast manifolds are usually much easier to put in cause they are smaller and the turbo doesn't hang too low or stick out needing the a/c taken out or other things relocated. But the tubular designs have much better flow and good for better power numbers.

ok I read that forum. but all I find is contradicting numbers and opinions. I did learn with my current goals I do NOT want a top mount LOL thats about all I really got from that whole thing. just because once someone said something that made sense someone else would say another. ect.
and when they refer to log that is a cast I assume that just runs 4 into1?

Cast are usually the cheapest but do hold up well with boost. They are easier to work on due to size, but offer the worst flow. Ramhorn or minos work pretty well
