Default d-series turbo kit on DOHC ZC??

If I was to get a d-series turbo kit what all would I need to change for it to fit my ZC engine(d16a1 I believe) Even though its a d engine I think the years for manifolds being the same is 92-00...maybe? So would I just need a new manifold and some adjustments to the charge piping or is there other stuff I would need?

well i'm not sure if the turbo manifold will bolt up, but if it doesn't, that should be the only thing you have to get a different part of. everything else should still work.

Also, the downpipe would most likely not be long enough if it was for a d series kit

But I can have a shop make a custom down pipe for pretty easily right? And if I get a manifold from somewhere fitting the 88-89 integra things should work pretty decent? and I already dont have ac/ps so thats not something to worry about losing

yea an exhaust shop can make you a downpipe pretty easy.

it'll be even easier for them in your situation because if you bring the downpipe that doesn't fit

, they can use the flanges from it to put on the downpipe they make. i did a search on yahoo, and it looks like the normal d-series manifold will bolt up.

In this link, it says the HF manifold fits all 88-00 D-series engines, and it also mentions that it also fits the D16A1. Therefore, if the exhaust manifold will bolt up to both normal d-series and the DOHC ZC, that would imply that they have the same exhaust manifold bolt/port configuration. http://www.homemadeturbo.com/tech_pr...old/index.html
