Im turboing my car and have about 4 grand to do it right im looking at a garret turbo kit but i would also like to do some internals and was wondering what you guys would suggest

for 4 g's you can piece together a killer set yourself.

 

The most important piece of advice I can give you is to take your time and research your butt off on here (the searchbutton is your friend). You can put together an amazing kit yourself for around $1500.You can spend the rest on eitherbuildingyourmotor or maybe a b series swap. And dont overlook suspension if you havent already made some upgrades in that department.

4g's.. wish i had that.. i cant even afford to buy my civic yet..

 

for internals get forged pistons and rods. weisco makes good pistons and eagle makes good h beam rods. also with the turbo set up i would suggest researching. i am going to point you in the direction of where to start looking and reading. i would suggest piecing your own kit together. i am almost to 2k right now, but i have a better set up than a 2k pre made kit.

I think Wiseco turbo pistons (Ive got em in my motor and find they are pretty good) and Crower rods would be mega sweet.
