do i need body kit

Default do i need body kit

hey guys i was wondering do you need a new front bumper if you get an intercooler or does stock work and if stock does work is it clearly visable

thanks for any help

u can use the stock bumper..if u want u can even jus put a front lip on the front to make it look sexy!

You'll be fine with the stock bumper. depending on what year and model car you have it will most likely be pretty visible through the opening at the bottom of your stock bumper. I would probably try and not go much bigger than about 30"x8"x3.5" intercooler (including end tanks) just to make sure you wont have any fitment issues. I just test fit my 32"x6"x3" spearco the other day and it was perfect!

you dont need a body kit to have your IC fit. all a body kit is used for is looks. it fits the same as a stock bumper. you will have to do some cutting to the inside of your bumper. i would agree with red2000si, dont go higher than 8" and 3" is fine for the thickness.
