Slightly longer spool times, the turbo is closer to the elements, oiling issues, longer pipe runs.

although it is nice because it keeps your under hood temps down, and the engine bay uncluttered

cant you just do a rear mount turbo like some v8's do?

cant see it when you pop the hood and it still works plenty fine

Thats what he means by remote mount.


Anyways just an idea, but why not go to the local exhaust and/or fabrication shop and see if they can make some sort of an adaptor?
