^+1, says it all, take it from some one who bought a "good price turbo" on ebay, it was crap, it blew, and ive spent almost twice what it would have cost me to do it right the first time now

I would buy turbos and stuff on ebay, but I know what im looking for. I would never buy any of that knockoff garbage, ebay is great, just make sure youre buying good parts.

Lol, ok, let me rephrase.

I would never buy a direct Ebay product, IE ssautocrap. Private users selling name brand stuff is a different story.

Well, i dont mean to be all **** technical, but 'direct ebay' doesnt really apply to anything... ebay doesnt sell anything.

I don't know about the manifolds... I can believe they are subpar, but you could buy 7 or 8 of them before reaching the cost of 1 quality piece.

Basically, if you have a D series and your not looking to make more than 300+ whp Pete's greddy kit is a steal! Your looking at $600+ for an ebay kit that has 1/3 of the stuff pete's kit has in it, your gonna spend another $600 on all the missing parts you need along with fuel management and its all gonna break in a week! If I had a D I would be all over pete's kit in a heart beat for $950!

you can not beat a deal like Pete has right there. Seriously, a knock off turbo is trouble...you do realize that you're buying a piece of equpment that turns 150000RPM? That is not a typo too. It is a simple device on paper, but when it comes to manufacturing them...it's complicated. They have to presicion balanced and if they're not, than they're donve for in under 5K miles.

^Ditto! My motor was nearly trashed from 10psi daily on a tampered tune. However, my 18g GReddy turbo has zero shaft play on it and it cleary has over 20k miles on it.

I was just busting your *****, but I dont want the guy thinking all ebay stuff is garbage. When it comes to turbos on ebay, the shinier they make it the crappy is probably is.
