My car (supercharged) has an extra injector and like sacicons said... its very common. It would be easier to just get larger injectors though. As far as the fuel pump goes, Kenne Belle make a boost-a-pump which basically increases the flow rate of your stock fuel pump. Look into that if you're serious about it.

If you compare the performance of the same engine with carb vs EFI you will get more hp and better gas mileage on the EFI
Properly tuned, carburetors make more peak power than EFI in a Pro Stock engine. A carb’s pressure differential atomizes the gas a lot better than spraying fuel through an orifice. But EFI has a broader powerband and superior cylinder-to-cylinder fuel distribution. The 1,100- to 1,300-cfm dual carbs are good only over a narrow range, about 1,500 rpm at most. EFI performs well over 2,000 rpm or more. On average, if optimized, both systems perform about the same as far as how fast you get down the track. However, the EFI system is much easier to tune than a carburetor. it really depends on your tuning capabilities and what you prefer to run.

dude just go ahead and get yourself a set of stock RSX type S injectors, they work fine and are a direct fit.

though tuning an engine like that with carbs becomes a major ordeal when you start changing elevations. when i moved to Sacramento (about 50 ft in elevation) from up near Reno (about 4-5k) my buddy with an old carbed dodge moved here with me. his car ran like crap for the entire time he lived here. had NO power, and got HORRIBLE mileage. and i happily drove around in my EFI civic, and he wanted to get a crx. on the street, EFI all the way. on the track, whatever you are more comfortable with.
