Default Floating block's

i have been shown that the b16a2's have a floating block and apparently if i boost mine and even if i get better pistons and rods and all the necessary goods to boost my engine with a t04e turbo on it. i wont be able to boost it over 10psi because the blocks on the vtech arnt strong.

i'm getting my car back from the machanics in a day with a new exedy clutch and flywheel on it ready to put my turbo kit on. i know i wont be able to go over 7psi with stock internals but done anyone know if i will be able to go over 10 with new internals safely?

Default RE: Floating block's

I think you mean a open deck design and that does not mean you can run boost at anything over 10psi. On a good tune a B16 all stock will hold 250 to 280whp daily
