Found Boost Leaks, Need Advice!!!

Ran a boost leak tester and found various leaks, this one being the only one i'm unsure of what to do.

That vacuum hose coming up off that canister on my firewall leaks a ton of boost, is it ok to plug this up? What is it's purpose?
Thanks in advance!

That's the charcoal canister for emissions, I don't even think you need it but me myself I've never had a problem with a boost leak in it. I know the hose towards the engine hooks to top of throttle body, and the hose towards the fire wall hooks to a black thing that is usually on the intake mani.
I do know with the JDM engines they don't come with that black sensor, but usually located on the top right hand side by the firewall.

I have a major boost leak spraying out of the compressor outlet where it meets with the charge piping. There is a thin gasket between these two pieces that was leaking boost, I put some high temp RTV stuff in there and within a few days it was pissing out boost again. Ordered a new gasket from mitsubishi but I'm not sure what to expect, whether it will be thicker and do the job or not. Any advice what to do next?

What is a gasket doing there? Pic of it? If it's directly attached to the compressor I'd use CV joint grease, heat is up the joint with a torch and you got a carbon seal.
