an HX is fast for you,.. ok then yes keep the car. Supercharge it and turbo it (twin charge) and don't forget the nitros injection. That should get you a good half way through the 15K. Once the engine blows up use the rest of that money to buy a new car. Oh and by the way the HX automatic is a CVT not a regular civic automatic transmission so good luck with the swap.


Just remember everyone else is always wrong and you are always right! So my suggestion is never ask for advice again if you are not willing to listen to the suggestions/opinions of others that have been there and done that.

i might now have the best car as of right now, but eventually it will be worth it. I am not doing a 5 speed swap, just putting a new performance auto tranny in there, whatever fits. And no, i am not going to spend my 15K on the civic....so quit being ******** about it. I came here to get help and i get flamed at instead. Hummn....very helpful forum! Keep it up guys

 

I believe you might want to make that more clear as the first comment on this post you stated "thousands" and your headline is "15Gs to spend....". They members are helpful for providing likely information, but if you have read other posts(not including your others on the same matter) they do not generally offer unessessary advise for cars if the questions are posed more intelligently. As you read through past posts and forums on subject matter of interest you will see the answers to the questions you may have. You will also learn the ways to ask for information you may need so that the answers are more helpful to you. I agree you do not need so much flaming. Read through the HCF past posts and threads a little and see if what you need is there.

I recommend a performance torque converter if you keep the auto. Make sure you research the stall points so that you get out of it what you want(shifting wise). It all depends on you overall goal..street/srtrip ... autox....strictly show or go

heres what id do if i had 15k

b18 engine, stroker kit, performance sleeved, exhaust, intake (CAI and manifold), all aftermarket valvetrain, high compression head gasket, head porting and valve jobs. u'll have a super fast naturally aspirated engine, then get another 1k and get a massive throttle body, ignition wires, as big of feul injectors as u can w/o sacrificing horsepower (test it on the dyno, bigger till u get the max horsepower), then u'll have the fastest naturally aspirated motor around

get another 2.5-3k get a good turbo and u'll b runnin 10s
