As you might know..the LX header has the catalytic converter built in it, therefore, with the turbo header that comes w/the turbo kit im looking at..the check engine light will come on. So then what>? Do i need to chip it or get a air/fuel controler? By the way the kit comes with: -turbo manifold D17 SOHC MOTOR

-38 mm wastegate

-godspeed SPEC A INTERCOOLER (25X6.5X3" CORE SIZE)

-t3 stage 3 turbo

-ssqv blow off valve

-oil line

-intercooler piping


and then I thought if I could get some advice from you guys about the header situation, OR IF I EVEN NEED A NEW HEADER!, and top it all off with new fuel injectors and a Koyo racing radiator. HELP!!

 

You have got a lot to learn about turbos. First off, your check engine light is going to go off anyway with out proper fuel managment and an ECU tune. Second, there is no such thing as a header for a turbo. The turbo is technically the header with a downpipe.

Search the section more for this and youll find out a lot of info.

 

so i would definately need a new header then? i couldnt just get intercooler+piping, bov, turbo, and lines and mess w/fuel/air stuff?

 

i hav cat-back exhaust, pullies, and iridium spark plugs as well

 

You cant put a header on a turbo set up. I already told you that.

If you go turbo, Id get rid of those iridiums if I were you.

this wasnt the full kit, i was wondering if i could work w/these parts

this is a different full kit, but i was looking for something cheaper as a whole
