Default i'm in need of some help

So i got a used turbo kit, it had pretty much everything in it and i got it checked out before buying and everything is in great shape. it came with some fuel management stuff but i can't make any sense of how it was setup, i was hoping to install the turbo here in the next few weeks but i don't know if i am going to beable to, i guess what i am saying is what should i replace the stuff with or something so that the install will go smoother. I just plan on using an FMU for the time being because there is no place close that does stuff like this otherwise i would just get my ecu chipped and all that.

any help would be great.

even with a fmu you are going to need a tune and if you dont you can bye bye to your engine in no time. so i would say find a chipped p28 ecu online and pick that up, then try to find a place close to you that tunes crome or neptue.

the closet place that i know of is 3 hours away, i am thinking that i might make the trip but i am wondering about if i could drive that distance the the turbo set up and just run low rpms, would that be safe to do?

edit: ok now i feel dumb i did some looking around and there may be a place really close but i will have to give them a call before i can really know and that will have to wait until tomorrow.

Make a boost leak, and keep your RPMs as low as you can if you need to drive.

or just get a chipped ecu with a crome or neptune basemap and dont get into boost at all until your tuned

i know this can be done because forty04 did it for a couple of weeks, or maybe 2 months
