Intake Vaccuum Line Q

On my intake (and most others), the circled line is a vaccuum line correct? When installing a vacuum manifold for a turbo kit, could you just run that line to the source nipple on the vacuum manifold? I'm asking becasue it just seems easier than cutting another vacuum line in half, and this one is easily accessible (although i'm not sure where you'd mount the vac mani). So would this be possible? And if not, whats the most common vac line people tap into when installing a vacuum mani?

possibly but i would go with the brake booster line...for the sole fact manypeople including me have used this and have success

THe line thats circled is your crankcase ventilator. Your vacuum manifold would work best if its tapped on the brake booster line. I didn't use a vacuum mani but i used the fpr for my bov and my boost gauge is off the back of my intake manifold

I wouldn't put that line into your vacuum manifold, unless of course you want to push oil through all of your vacuum lines...[&:]

Use the break booster line, but make sure it's T'd AFTER the one way check valve or you'll be in all sorts of trouble.

It'sthe big one and your vacuum lines need to be after the TB, but it doesn't have to be the brake booster. Any one of those lines coming off of the mani will work.
