My Greddy turbo kit came today for my 1993 Ex and its going to be put on in late March. I was wondering what exhaust I should run and what kinda spark plugs and wires to get. I hear going a step colder is good and irdiums are not good. Would upgrading the igntion coil be a good idea to get a better spark. No intercooler came with the kit so I'm going to use a free intercooler I got from a thunder bird tubo coupe, its a little smaller size than a civic radiator wich I think will just work fine. Bigger intercooler make you lose more boost I think? Any advice will help since its going to be my first turbo expierence.

as for exhaust, anything 2.5" should work. Did your kit come with a down pipe?

 

Yeah it came with a cast iron down pipe.

 

Can you take some pictures of the turbo and post them up? Why until march? Snow?

my turbo kit. I took some pics of the manifold, turbo and wastegate, downpipe and engine management. there is a usb jack in the e management so that makes me think I can hook my laptop up to my car.

 

I'll preach this until I'm blue in the face, ditch e-manage. Especialyl since you're already OBD1 and have a p28 just begging to get chipped and tuned with Crome

 

i agree ditch the blue box and go with a chipped p28, it will save you a lot of headaches in the end and it might save your engine sooner.
