Default Looking To Turbo

I have a 2001 Honda Civic Ex with complete stock motor and I want to put a little more power so I thought Turbo it.

What kind of turbo can my engine support here are the Motor specs

1,668 cc 1.7 liters 4 in-line front engine with 75 mm bore, 94.4 mm stroke, 9.9 compression ratio, overhead cam, variable valve timing/camshaft and four valves per cylinder

dont turbo a d17 unless you have a ton of money, a ton of patience, and a ton of experiance with cars.

hardest motor to turbo is a d17 because of the fuel mapping.

just put intake / header / exhaustand go naturally aspirated, youll be plenty fine with that and you wont have extreme headaches

If your a boost junky, go get yourself a EG hatch (92-95') and boost he D16z6 engine that comes in it.

Best way to gain a lot of power in a car with a d17 would be to swap it out with a k20.

With your car I'm not sure how much it would cost to acually swap the engine but the k20z3 from the new civic si'shave 197hp and they are about $5-6k with a manual transmission iirc. I'm sure someone elsehere can clear it up.
