Default MAP bypass(missing link)?

does anybody know if these blox map bypass valves that bolt onto your throttle body really work and will release boost pressure from your intake manifold and won't throw you (check engine light) to come on?

it doesnt release boost pressure like a BOV if thats what you are thinking, but if theres MAP CEL problems, the Blox one should work fine to fix it.

sry for the comfusion but i just dont want a CEL light to come on when i hit boost because i have heard that stock ecu's don't like to see boost, so it basicly just releases the pressure that the ecu will sense so it tricks it into thinking it is normal, and i know that it doesnt make any noise i am just wondering if i install this Bypass that my cel wont come on, so it is worth the money is my real question

eh scrap the vortec and get a greddy emanage or blue box. This will eliminate the need for a Missing link. Ive got the blue box.......works pretty well.

arn't e-managments like a 500 bucks, i just dont really want to deal with that, i am only gonna get a basic kit and stick with 7psi hopefully i wont get greedy, i might upgrade to the emanagement if i swap out the motor for the dohc, but for now i am trying to get my kit running
