Is it possible to Super-charge and Turbo-charge an engine?

Yes. It's called twin-charging. You can even run twin turbos and a SC if you're crazy enough,

I'm on a ****ty/annoying computer, so I won't do it now, but I wrote a list up of all my mod's and prices, and basically I will have enough to play around alil bit with the engine.

I was thinking the Super-charger would help with low end power, and a Turbo-charger would help with high end power. I was gonna re-build most of the motor to run major boost(15 psi on turbo/new to super's)

Any ideas on what I need to 're-build' on the engine? or I think I heard some guys even talking about boring the engine also.

Waist of money for one thing because a properly designed turbo setup will do everything twin charging will do, 2nd thing a pain in the rear/tuning nightmare and that is if you can even find a shop that will touch anything like that. I will dig up some info on this and place it in a F.A.Q. type thread for you guys.

the thing about twin charging is you have boost down low from teh SC, then your car is on crazy pills when the turbo spools up and you're twin charging.

i think it was forty who said this, theres someone around that he knows about who has a big turbo that runs like 20psi all day, and to not have to spool up he has nitrous set up to spray until the turbo spools up, then it shuts off when he reaches his set boost level. in other words, running 20psi with no turbo lag.

IMO you'd be better off with a SC that is not an integral part of the IM.
