Default SC question for my 2dr 94 civic ex

I can't seem to find a supercharger under $2000. Jackson racing don't make one for my model. The really cheap ones ($39.99blower)on ebay got really bad reviews. Does anyone know where I can go to look for something reliable but not too powerful? I'm an easy driver just looking for a 45-50hp gain or something noticable on lower end torque gain between 1000-4000 rpm. Maybe 4-5psi induction.I realize you get what you pay for so the $39.99 stuff on ebaywon't work for me. But everything else looks so pricey!!! Some could go up to $4k-$5k.

thats how much superchargers go for, its not cheap... real hp cost real money... why dont you concider an engine swap, i think youll get more bang for your buck and less of a headache... if you still want to supercharge im sure you can find a cheaper used one on ebay or something

I wouldn't go cheap on a supercharger. You get what you pay for. So if you really want one get a JCRS because they are moderate boost and just bolt on boost. If a supercharger is what you want get one.

???

Any Dseries Jackson racing supercharger will work for your car as far as I'm aware.

Why not just piece together a simple turbo kit? It will probably be cheaper and easier if you get the right parts.

Thanks forthe feedback. I guess an engine swap would make more sense since it just costsa little morethan a reputable supercharger.
