Which is better, a supercharger or a turbocharger? it might sound crazy, can you install both (newbie)?

theres really no way to say one is better than the other. if your going for simplicity, go for the supercharger. its much easier to install (because it basically replaces the intake manifold and is just belt driven) and there is virtually no boost lag as there is with a turbo. mais...almost everyone on this forum would go turbo, mostly for personal reasons

and yes, you can do both turbo and supercharging, but its kinda pointless IMO

Where you make power is just as important as how much you make. For a civic my vote would go to the turbocharger, not because its personal, but because it would simply be better for the application. Also I fail to see how Twincharging a car is pointless. It offsets the balances of both. The only disadvantage is that its very expensive and takes a lot of room.

First of all, Twincharging = S/C + T/C.

Second of all, you don't need to do jack **** to your internals unless you're planning on running more than 6 or 7 psi.

And third of all, this question
Which is better, a supercharger or a turbocharger?
should never be asked until one has read the many pages of responses that are already up on here...
