Default Turbo

Well i've decided to turbo, and have seen many different ones on ebay. I know people are sceptical of ebay parts, but I know people who have bought kits from there and love them. Im trying to find out if an rsx turbo will fit my civic which I think it will judging by what i've read, but any info would be appreciated. Also what do yall make of this ? It says its an intercooler kit but then talks of the turbo, hp gain, and other things....theres no way this is a turbo kit for 500...or is it? The only thing it says is doesn't contain manifold..?

I don't want to sound impatient, but am in a rush so if anyone can look at that link and give me there opinion of what there selling i'd appreciate it, If it's a turbo kit without the manifold I will but it instantly! I've sent the seller an email but haven't gotten a response yet...

Just my opinion but.. ABORT!!!! man get one that is brand name... by the looks of it that manifold is ****.. and the turbo would probably go before you could say go. everthing on there says "Style" so that means knock-off's and that means crap.

They're selling the turbo, the intercooler, the bov, the piping for the intercooler and a boost controller...
To tell you the truth, I wouldn't trust it... It doesn't really look TOO cheap, but those pre-assembled "universal turbo intercooler kits" don't feel too right...
Just make sure you're getting what you need man...
Also, a turbo install is much too crucial to be "in a rush"...

LOL, but you won't be able to install it if you don't get the right parts! So, don't rush! I'm sure you made your research, but make some more to find out how you should piece together your kit.

Could you explain more on that (how I should piece together the kit)? And I read it right correct, it will fit an 02 civic si?...I know I may sound ignorant about all of this but haven't been around turbos or sc for that matter...and I figured what better than to ask on here Oh and it has a 3 year warranty, so if anything broke I could just send it back

Hey man, that's what HCF is here for!
Check out these great links:
Pete's Turbo Grocery List
Great build!

You can basically go 2 ways: the easy and expensive way or... the other way, lol
The easy way is to just buy a good turbo kit (like a Greddy kit, which is listed at ~ $3500 for yours on their website)
OR
The other way is to buy the individual pieces needed to make your car run boost (which is what Pete's Turbo Grocery List is for)

Obviously, there are pros and cons to each ones. Buying a pre-assembled kit made especially for your car won't give you too many problems installing it. On the other hand, if you piece it together, that's not a guarantee. But then again, piecing it together gives you much more flexibility on what you really want.

Just think about it...

Im looking for a turbo, and not a great amount to spend. It has a 3 year warranty and will give me boost. If anything breaks I would be able to send it back. Based on this information, if you were me, would you buy it?
