Is it possible to disassemble the two housings of a turbocharger and rotate one so that the inlet/outlet is facing a more desirable direction?

 

yes it is, go look in the turbo section under the stickies. The sticky showing you how to install a turbo kit tells you how to do it. Very easy!

what turbo do you have? My Vj11 was super easy, just a couple bolts and spin it, but my 14b is like a giant snap ring, then you gotta grind off this clocking pin, etc. But that link should help, post pics if you have any more questions.
