That is up on the list of top 10 most vaguest questions ever. What are you going to use the car for? How much hp are you looking for? Do you have another mode of transportation? How much work are you planing on doing yourself?

haha; ok im sorry, im not trying to be mean. There are more experienced people than me, but all i can say is it is probably going to be a lot of work. Ive been researching turbos myself, and that is a large number to work usually (for the amount of work most want to do).

Your going to have to rebuild your engine if you want more than 250 from you B16.

False. 10-12 psi on a good tune will net more than 250 whp more like 275-300ish with a good tune.

a t-3/t-04E is a good starters turbo IMO with a set of DSM injectors and a resistor box (cheapest way) then you could go the more expensive way and go with RC or other brand name bigger injectors than stock. but at the same time you'll need a way to control those injectors, IE: a VAFC2 (cheapest), or some form of a standalone, IE hondata, chrome, uberdata, so on and so forth.

so my biggest question is, how much do you want to spend?

You know what it might also be wise of you to change the head bolts just because boost pushes up on the head it will save you a headache down the road and you do realize that you just dont need turbo you need injectors, resistorbox, etc and to boot! WITH THESE ****ING GAS PRICES YOU CAN ONLY RUN 91!

speaking from experience i think a t3/t4 would be the best way to go as well. DSM injectors will be fine for right now, but they will max out fast with a t3/t4. if you upgrade your fuel pump, this will let you run a little more psi before the injectors are maxxed out. i would NOT recommend a VAFC2. those are just junk. also standalone would be aem ems. piggyback systems are the way to go for example: crome, hondata, uberdata, etc. i spent about 2300 on my turbo set up and i bought nothing brand new. if you want to get 300 whp you are going to have to rebuild your engine unless you want to blow it within the first month of being boosted. also i would get a great tune with 10-12 psi on a stock motor. usually the motors can only hold 8-9 with good reliability.
