turbo d16 non vtec

ok heres the deal what else do i need to do i have a stock d16 rebuilt for turbo but i need to set the computer for it cause i know the whole issue with air/fuel but do i need a new ecu or what..ive herd about taking the vtec ecu and tunning it by using that but any suggestions...

get a chipped p28 and goto a tuner and have them put crome or neptune on there and have them tune it as well. the tuner can set up all the a/fs to your engine with the chipped ecu.

From what I've seen, Crome tuners are easier to find than Neptune tuners.. At least around here.

sry for a thread jack but can you get a p28 and take the vtec out of if for say like my motor and then use it for tuning? im still confused on what ecu to use for the d16y7

You need to run the p06 IIRC

You need to run the p06 IIRC
I'm sure you can, since you can take a po6 and make it into a p28. I don't see why you can't do it the other way around. But, you're better off selling the p28 and making some profit out of it since the po6 go around 50 shipped.

You'll need a P06 or P05 with added O2 sensor.
