Cool Turbo Timers

I've got a '99 hatch with a turbo charged single cam and am thinking about putting a timer on. Anyone have suggestions or comments about which one? Also wondering about wiring them up. Do they come with a wiring harness that plugs in or do you have to custom wire them for each application? Thanks for any help you can give me!

i just wired it in it was really easy, i think i used a diy on honda tech but you can but a plag and play harness for around 30 bucks

HKS Type 1 is what I have. It's awesome... digital speedometer, tachometer, voltmeter, and automatic 1/4 mile, 1/8 mile, 60 foot and lap timer

Oh yea, and it has the turbo timer too :P

I have the greedy one with the same features... but i just used it as a timer lol.

I think they offer the wiring harness separate.. but it's not hard to just wire it yourself.

It's totally worth paying $35 on ebay for the plug n' play harness. SO worth it. I only had to tap three wires, the tach and the vss signal wires, which was optional and only because I wanted the tach and speedo to work on it, and then the parking brake wire.

The plug n' play harness is really nice, and it makes it especially easy if you ever want to remove the turbo timer for any reason in the future.

I've got an Apexi, the bad thing about it is that it does not have a speed sensor safety feature, only e-brake. Other than that, it does its job.

I had the Greddy TT, previous to me ditching my turbo build. I had no complaints with it. Extremely simply to wire up, even if you don't have a plug and play harness. But as Trust said, it does make the install even easier and faster.
