hey yall i got me a 02 civic ex with AEM intake, DC Headers, and a Catback exhaust...and i was wondering which turbo would be good for my car...i got a stock engine with a 5 speed tranny....so would 8-10 psi be too much for my car?...im fairly new to turbo so plz give me alot of suggestions?...i can get a turbo kit for like 2 grand dunno which brand yet and a stage 3 turbo for 850 through a hookup...would that be good enough?...plz help...and is there a way so i can tune my turbo so it dont blow my engine if i daily drive the car....plz help..thanks!...

From your post you havent a clue about turbos. You need to run a search and do your homework. Reasearch is the key to this kind of thing. That price you quoted is a tad iffy... I hope you arent looking at an ebay kit.

yea, i thought about an ebay turbo kit..then i seen a pic on one of the auctions missing part of the charge pipes...so, i have no confidence in their turbo kits... hope you dont either.

that really dosent make much sense, maybe you meant how much psi should you run. Well, its not about psi, its about hp numbers. A t25 and a t4 flow 2 completely volumes of air at the same psi. Do you research on here and you will find a million other people that have asked this very same question.

ok can some one explains wahts the difference between letters..like t4 and g54 or something..what does that mean?

most of the time the numbers are based upon the intake/exhaust turbines. A t25 intake turbine is maybe a little bigger than a silver dollar and a T4 maybe a little smaller than a tennis ball. With these comparisons, you can see that 1 can suck in a lot more air than the other, so, psi becomes debatable.

ok..lets say for an AEM intake...and a Greddy Exhaust...wahts the difference...so basicly the numbers mean like t19 (19 means 19 psi?)

Agree, do your research and take ur time on it. I'm sure u'll get a lot of info from doing ur homework. I'm also looking in on turbo kits, but doing a lot of research first.
