Turbo leaking oil on cold side
This is my second turbo. My first was a DIY and the seal blew on the exhaust side, blowing a ton of oil out the exhaust.
So I opted for a Greddy turbo kit and now it is leaking oil out the compressor side. I pulled the piping at the intake and at the turbo and saw a lot of oil (not residue, but actual oil that I had to use a rag to clean up). I posted a pic of the bov, which shows oil splattered in the direction the bov blows.
I posted some pics of the oil drain. It is a little kinked, but I believe oil is being drained without a problem. It could be wishful thinking. I think it might be that the engine puts out too much oil pressure at WOT.
Also I think the blow by from the valve cover going into the air intake might have a little too much oil going into the intake. I bought a weapon-r oil catch can to resolve this problem, but I'm afraid this only a little bit of oil. I haven't installed it yet, so I don't know if it will help.
Is it the oil pressure? Or is it the oil drain? Or is it both?

Is it just me, or is the drain flange on that turbo at a complete 90* angle!!?!?! Absolute no no!!!
Make the drain flange on the turbo point straight down, and make sure it doesn't kink what so ever going into the block.

Riceburner: The turbo does not have an oil restrictor. This is a straight up greddy kit. You would think they would know about honda's oil pressure. I think I'll call them and ask if they put this into their R&D and if others had similar problems.
SovXietday: The oil drain from the turbo does go straight down, but curves to the right to get to the oil pan. It kinks a little. The reason why the oil pan hole is there is b/c I had a custom turbo that lined up there. I think I'm going to buy some 1/2" pipe at a 45degree angle to make the curve and put hose on both sides. I'll let you know if it works.
