Hey guys, so I see sooo many different turbo manifold shapes out there, are there better shapes for more power etc?

Heres a pic of a manifold I think looks crazy, is it faster then normal??

its ss autochrome so i would say no. I recommend sticking with a cast iron manifold

 

ss autochrome is crap. don't risk it. get a quality cast iron one. i know know drag makes a sweet one which is what i have on my car.

 

or a peakboost manifold which is like top of its class for strength and flow...but expect a good chunk of change for it

 

To tell the truth all tubular manifold will crack after prolong usage, no way around it. I do have to say though that the Full Race one is about the best I have ever seen. They use 8 gauge forged stainless steel and it is all custom. To get down to it a machine that is able to mandrel bend 8 ga forged ss is over $60,000 alone. You will not get one from them for any less than $1000 though.

Other than that a log/cast manifold is about the best thing to get on a street/strip car. Turbonetics makes good ones along with edlebrock and a good number of other companies.

 

full race all the way their products are awsome and they actually make power.

they are cosidered the best in the business if you ask me. in my opinon i wouldnt go for anything but the top of the line for my car.
