Default turbo peps question for yall.

i got a turbo today from my junk yard and curious how i should list it on ebay to get most people looking at it and know what they are getting.
it says banks which im pretty sure is a good name in turbos at least for trucks they are.

i got it off a 88-94 fullsize chevy 6.2 diesel 4x4.
the internals seem tight and there is no shaft play back and forth or difference from the input and output sides so i asume the turbo is just fine and not bad. ive spun the one side with my hand on the intake and can feel it slightly suck on my palm.
curious if it would be bad what kinda signs would i see? id rather not put something on ebay that is bad.

i paid 80bucks for it with everything there. and no there is no wastgate or intercooler setup that was on this truck. im pretty sure i can sell the turbo alone and make money the intake i can probably sell to truck guys. i like the filter section myself that i might just keep for a custom air intake.

if i cannt make money i can always take it back to junk yard for refund.
just looking for some help to identify and maybe how much i should look to get for it.

It's nice to see no ridges scratched in the walls by the fins. The lack of shaft play and lack of a ridge shows that the maintenance of this turbo has been kept up with.

I didn't see any bent, melted, or chipped fins. Good.

Good info to get:
-Find out the size of the flange to the manifold (T3, T4, T25 are pretty standard).
-Get the diameter (center to center) of the 6 bolt pattern on the hot side.
-Get the diameter of the charge side's Inlet and outlet.

Things I could find:
-this is an oil cooled turbo.
-a/r 1.00 turbine side (hot side)

i forgot to measure the air outlet tho i believe it looks like 2-2.5inches
thats the charge pipe on the bottom left. larger side goes into the intake.
what kinda $$ ya think this thing might be worth? more than 100bucks i hope! id like to think i didnt waste my time pullin it off.

Check out other listings on eBay. I'm sure you'll get more than that.

ya hard to tell not really to many banks turbos on ebay. i just cleaned it up and slapped it on ebay already. not sure if i should get the exhaust exit pipe for it or not for it. do you think that would help its sale or not really?
but under all that oil i found out there was a badge on it.

wow i put that sucker on ebay and already had 16people watchin the auction and 5people emailing me about it. and they all wanted it for the whole kit. so today i went back to junk yard to pull the rest of the parts and had to relist it to include everything so im defiantly hoping for a bidding war at that last minute of the auction.LMAO
tho that dam manifold was a PITA BIG TIME REMOVING! took me freakin 4hours to pull these extra parts first i tried cutting off the front end of the truck and dragging the front assembly off but i only got it forward abotu 10inches and then i had to lift the motor up on the one side to get the manifold bolts out where were all rusty as hell and every single bolt i had to hammer the socket onto and then had to hammer my socket off the bolt once i got it off. all i can say is I HOPE FOR A BIDDING WAR! that was a big pita to remove! my sawzaw just didnt have enough battery power! i really need more batteries OR a small generator for a 110v sawzaw!

but hoping for a nice price! i see one online thats a newer version but that suckers at 1K bucks with 1/2hour left. so O BOY and it says in the ad that the turbo has play so who knows, even with my manifold studs busted i still might get a good profit for it as a kit. best of all after all the parts i got i only paid ruffly 100bucks total. i hide the gauges behind my hammer and wrenches so didnt pay for them and he didnt charge me for the exhaust pipe flange either or the valvecover breather. i like the lazy cashiers at my junkyard they dont search me anymore or ring me up for everything quite a bit now. tho there is 2 cashiers i hate! they charge me for every little thing! what can i say i enjoy freebies
