Does this have to do with porting the wastegate gases on say a T25 like the beauty I just bought???
And or What is Porting for the newb here?

What part of the turbo gets ported? I understand porting when it pertains to mani's, heads etc... I was just wondering if by porting a turbo people were meaning seperating wastegate and exahust gases.

Porting makes the wastegate hole larger, which allows for more exhaust to leave through the wastegate which regulates boost better.
