Couldn't you get a boost controller and turn the boost way down?

no you can only turn boost up. The lowest setting is set by your wastegate spring and then you "hide" boost from it to make it go up.

Berz out.

Full-Race (www.full-race.com) makes some good turbos, or so i hear. There is a turbo that makes 450HP on a stock motor and retains A/C. Its for a B series engine, but its still pretty impressive. I know that Full-Race has a D series with almost 800 HP on thier website. Its definatly not stock, but its still lots of power. I would check around on thier site, but i think you have to call them up for D series engines.

They have a B approaching 800, I think, but not a D. I don't know that a D could make 800, even on methanol.

Pink SOHC Civic Story. If you goto towards the bottom of the page, it shows a dyno sheet and they write that 790.1 WHP and 610 ft/lbs of torque. I think the 790 number is off the pink SOHC but i could be wrong.

I think that the air to liquid IC are the best, but they are also the most expensive. You need alot more stuff for that, its liek another cooling system. Most people have Air to Air.

Yeah i agree with most of the posts, i never even hit boost on the highway and i can go about 80mph. Like someone else said unless ur a bat out of hell shifting (haha that made me laugh so hard) it shouldnt be a problem. I wouldnt even keep it at 1lb whats that point? might as well be safe and not even tempt yourself.
