turbo time

I am putting togather my own turbo kit to save money but i am concerned i will not obtain the power that a kit can give me...i want to be able to build a solid setup without spend 4 grand im sure you all feel the same

It's not hard to do. Look at Pete's Turbo Grocery list in the DIY section. A kit is just basically a compilation of parts you can get elsewhere. If you're willing to drop three grand you can get a kit, if you don't want to go through all the extra headache, or you could get a Jackson Racing Supercharger kit for about two grand. However, I'm a true DIY'er and I would build a kit.

almost 95% of the time a homemade turbo kit will make more power than a kit. i spent 2000 grand on peiecing together one for my car with all brand new parts except for the turbo and one of my friends has the same car with a kit and i can pull on him by about 2-3 cars

SURELY you mean 2000 dollars...or 2 grand. because anyone who spends 2 million on a turbo setup is just plain retarted
